The very first Sportsman's Guide Catalog came out in 1977, offering discount-priced gear and clothing to hunters, along with the item that started it all, a trophy jacket patch that allowed deer hunters to brag about their success. We're located in the land of 10,000 lakes, Minnesota, in South St. Paul… actually, to be exact, it’s the land of 11,842 lakes.
